A driver has been treated for a head injury after crashing his car down an embankment today.
A man is in Gold Coast University Hospital after crashing his car at Mt Tamborine today.
The man's car fell about four metres down the embankment on Apo Circuit.
Critical care paramedics and a high acuity response team was dispatched to the scene at 11.19am.
They treated the elderly driver for a head laceration, and took him to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man freed himself from the vehicle.
The spokesman was unable to confirm the man's age.
