Jimboomba's Red Rooster outlet has closed its doors, but the company says that despite stores closing permanently across the state, it is only a temporary measure.
A sign on the door of the Jimboomba Junction Shopping Centre informed customers that the closure was not permanent.
"This store is temporarily closed," the sign on the Cusack Lane outlet reads.
"Re-opening soon. Sorry for the inconvenience."
Seven of the chain's Queensland stores temporarily shut up shop on the Sunshine Coast last year.
They included outlets in Maroochydore, Buderim and Noosa.
Elsewhere, more than 150 Australian stores have been earmarked for closure.
Harris Scarfe, McWilliam's Wines, EB Games and Bardot are among those who have closed.
