FIREFIGHTERS have contained a bushfire in Beenleigh which no longer poses any threat to properties.
QFES released a statement warning there was stil la significant amount of smoke affecting the area which would reduce visibility and air quality.
"Smoke is also affecting the Pacific Motorway, so residents should drive with caution and to conditions."
QFES advises residents to keep informed of the situation and decide on what actions to take if the situation changes.

BEENLEIGH residents have been put on notice to leave the area if a bushfire near Reisers Road and George Street worsens.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are calling on residents to prepare to leave as nine firefighter crews, paramedics and police are at the scene of the blaze which is burning in a westerly direction towards the railway line and Beenleigh Marketplace.
People in the area are warned that smoke will reduce visibility and air quality.
