POLICE have charged a 58-year-old Browns Plains man following a string of reported incidents involving women being approached by a naked man at Sunnybank.
Upper Mount Gravatt detectives allege that a man was wearing nothing but a black or blue cloth covering his head while approaching women on Karalee, Turton, Dunedin, Mulgowie and Boorman Streets between 8pm and 10pm on November 8.
It will be further alleged that officers found a man "inappropriately touching himself" while hiding in bushes near Turton Street at 9.20pm on November 8.
As a result of complaints, police increased patrols in Sunnybank.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who has been approached in similar circumstances to contact them.
