LAST Man Standing Twenty20 Cricket is returning to Jimboomba following a successful first season at Glenlogan Park.
Three season one teams will contest the series including the Hit and Run, Jimby Crickets and Duck Duck Gone.
Bengal Warriors will not return for season two.
Hit and Run emerges as the undefeated champions of season one following a close fought grand final against Jimby Crickets on July 7.
The game came down to the second last ball with Hit and Run securing the 154 runs needed for victory in 19.4 overs.
A new side called Bucheurs has also been formed which is French for "the sloggers".
Last Man Standing organiser Matt Turbill said the season would run for 10 weeks on every Sunday from July 21 until September 29.
"It is a social and relaxed competition and all the guys who have played for a while have been happy with the atmosphere," he said.
"The biggest thing is it is cricket done in two hours. You are not standing in the sun for two hours fielding only to come back and get bowled out in the first ball and watch the other guys go for another three or four hours."
Last Man Standing Cricket is played with different rules to traditional cricket.
Each team consists of eight players and each over consists of five balls.
Three runs are conceded per wide delivery bowled and the final batsman is required to bat without a partner.
A batsman who hits a six run boundary on the last ball of the game will also score 12 runs for their team.
Mr Turbill said he was looking to recruit enough players to build up to six possible teams.
If enough interest is garnered through single player nominations teams will be formed.
Mr Turbill said the season one runner up team Jimby Crickets were formed through single player nominations and played well.
Anyone looking to express interest in season two can email beaudesert@lastmanstands.com.au or call 0402 326 085.
