STAGE three of a $15 million upgrade to New Beith Road is set to go ahead under Logan City Council's roads infrastructure delivery program.
The $114 million program will also cover other projects including catchment master drainage works at Shailer Park's Camena Street, Eagleby's Dryanadra Drive and Daisy Hill's Kinloch Road.
Master drainage works will also soon start at Milne Street, Ludke Lane and Muchow Street at Beenleigh.
Acting Roads and Water infrastructure director Daryl Ross said the New Beith Road upgrade would extend from the Pub Lane roundabout and Citrine Street.
"It will involve the reconstruction of a 1.6 kilometre section of the two-lane arterial road," he said.
"Raising the road will reduce the impact of flooding as will the reconstruction of the roundabout at Pub Lane to a higher elevation."
Road maintenance projects currently underway include the Hotz Road reconstruction and Nash Road pavement rehabilitation at Jimboomba and the Undullah Road pavement rehabilitation at Woodhill.
Upgrades to Rosia Road at Park Ridge and Barnes Road at Cedar Vale have been completed.
Logan City Council's budget last month allocated $230.2 million for roads, drainage and engineering services.
