AN ENTERTAINING and high scoring Last Man Standing Twenty20 Cricket match unfolded as Jimby Crickets clashed against Bengal Warriors on Sunday.
The Jimby Crickets batsmen were untroubled by the opposition's bowling line up and cruised to a commanding 1-201 score from 20 overs.
In one of their better games during the season, the Bengal Warriors' batting run rate was on track for victory 10 overs into their innings.
However, they were bowled out in the final over and scored 163 runs to trail Jimby Crickets by 38 runs.
Man of the Match Brad Hamill scored 50 runs from 23 balls and took three wickets for 19 runs.
Bengal Warriors batsman Matt Turbill was the top scorer with 62 runs from 26 balls.
Meanwhile, the undefeated Hit and Run side continued their winning streak against Duck Duck Gone.
Hit and Run scored 3-194 runs from 20 overs while Duck Duck Gone trailed at 6-119.
Man of the match Lucky Singh scored 51 not out.
The first Last Man Standing final series starts on July 7 with Hit and Run the favourite to win.
