HIT and Run has narrowly retained its undefeated status with a 19 run win over Jimby Crickets in the Last Man Standing Twenty20 Cricket competition at Glenlogan Park on Sunday.
After winning the toss, Hit and Run amassed 152 runs with only three wickets down. In reply, Jimby Crickets scored 4-133, just falling short of victory.
Hayden Teese was the pick of Hit and Run's batters with 44 runs from 32 balls.
Man of the Match Brad Hamill scored 52 runs from 39 balls for Jimby Crickets.
Hit and Run bowler Shaun Harkin's economical overs slowed Jimby Cricket's run rate which proved crucial.
In game two, Duck Duck Gone defeated the Bengal Warriors.
The Bengal Warriors batted first but never picked up much steam all out for 115 from the last ball of their 20 overs.
Duck Duck Gone chased down the target in 16 overs with four wickets to spare.
Jason Hart scored 51 runs from 21 balls and Neil Buckenham made 47 runs from 39 balls.
