A lack of concentration in the third quarter led to Sherwood scoring some quick goals, but the Pirates recovered to gain the upper hand.

With a significant lead in the final quarter, the Pirates tried some different combinations which the players adjusted to well.

Park Ridge won 89 points to 36 for Sherwood.

Under 14

The first quarter was a close affair with each team driving into the forward line with little to show for it.

Wilston Grange scored goals in quick succession during the second quarter, which put them in the box seat to win.

The Pirates took a back to basics approach to the third quarter which had both sides on even footing.

Park Ridge outscored Wilston Grange in the final quarter, but it was not enough to claim victory, falling short 27 points to 66.
