A 25-year-old Munruben man had an unlucky April 13 when he was caught speeding 90km/h over the limit on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Police allege the driver was speeding 170km/h in an 80 zone along the Park Ridge section of the highway on Saturday at 6.35pm.
Senior Constable Jenny Wallis said the driver was travelling more than double the 40km/h threshold for high-range speeding.
The driver's licence has been automatically suspended for six months.
He was fined $1218 and issued eight demerit points.
Senior Constable Wallis called on drivers to make every effort not to speed during the Easter period.
