More than 1000 homes across nine suburbs were left without electricity during two blackouts on Sunday.
An Energex spokesman said 402 customers at Flagstone and River Bend lost power from 12.30pm to 1.30pm because a tree branch had fallen on an overhead power line.
He said crews worked to fix the issue and were able to reconnect the power within an hour.
Later, from 3.30pm to 8pm, 857 customers in the suburbs of Kagaru, Cedar Grove, River Bend, Jimboomba, Glenlogan, Allenview, Woodhill and Undulla were without power because wildlife had come into contact with an overhead power line.
The Energex spokesman said the damage caused had been worse than the earlier incident and it took crews four-and-a half hours to fix the problem and restore power.
