It was the perfect takeover when Luke and Jess Josling purchased Scenic Repair Centre in July last year.
Determined that it would be business as usual, the pair continued the hard work and values instilled by past owners Rod and Julie Edwards - to be a local family operated business with a strong focus on customer service.
But the new faces were certainly no strangers.
Home grown Beaudesert resident Luke had completed his apprenticeship in the panel and paint industry with the very same business, formerly Jasper Panel Works, two decades prior.
"When Luke left school he joined our business as an apprentice spray painter," Julie said.
During this time he gained multiple awards with the Apprenticeship Board.
Luke has been in the industry more than 20 years and has spent the past eight years working with PPG Australia as a technical advisor.
"We wanted to be able to provide our family with a new opportunity and flexibility so we decided to take over [the business]," Jess said. "The fact that Luke completed his time there was the icing on the cake as it tied it all together."
The focus is on strong family values and a personalised quality care that you don't see often with the big chain companies.
"We are family owned and treat your vehicle like our own," said Jess " We aim to make the process as simple as we can and are here to help. We are local and believe in supporting our community."
Scenic Repair Centre offers all vehicle repair services from insurance to private work, hail repair, plastic wielding and everything in between.
It is a Suncorp affiliated provider for all insurance and private work.
This advertising feature is sponsored by the following business;
"We currently employ five staff who have each respectively been in the industry for over 20 years with multiple skills they bring to the shop including paintless dent removal and chassis alignment."
The team at Scenic Repair Centre take the time treat each with special care and staff combine many years of experience, skills and professionalism within the business.
Luke and Jess also recently signed on a young local Zac Cross as a school-based apprentice and sponsored the Emmaus rugby team.
Meanwhile, Julie and Rod appreciate the team for carrying on the spirit, values and qualities of the business.
"We would like to thank the community for the support shown to us over the time of our business and wish Luke and his family well for the future," said Julie.
