Man charged following Beenleigh fatality

It is understood that a 60-year-old woman was struck by a car while walking on Milne Street at 4.45am.

The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where she later died.

Police charged the man with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.

He appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on January 11.
