AHMADIYYA Muslims invited the Logan community to attend an afternoon Remembrance Day ceremony at Bait ul-Masroor Mosque on Sunday, November 11.
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community partnered with Sunnybank RSL to support a poppy appeal leading up to the day of remembrance.
Bait ul-Masroor Mosque media coordinator Zain Alabideen said there were many examples of Muslims who fought with the allied forces in World War One, featured in an exhibit display at the mosque.
Members of the community laid wreaths and paused for a minute silence at the sound of the Last Post.
This year marked the centenary of the armistice ending World War one.
