JIMBOOMBA police have warned motorists to expect an influx of road side drug and alcohol tests as part of a road safety campaign.
Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said officers had caught a number of drink and drug drivers in November.
A 43-year-old Jimboomba man was charged with drink driving after police caught him on Sandpiper Drive and Lorikeet Court at Flagstone on Saturday, November 3 at 11pm.
Police allege a reading of 0.146 was recorded.
He is due to appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on November 27.
A 38-year-old Jimboomba woman allegedly recorded a positive reading when pulled over by the road side drug testing unit at Johanna Street, Jimboomba at 9.30am on Wednesday, November 7.
She is due to appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on January 22, 2019.
Police also caught a 33-year-old Jimboomba woman at South Street on November 7 at 5.30pm.
She is due to appear at Beaudesert Magistrates Court on February 5, 2019.
Three-vehicle crash
PARAMEDICS were called to a three-vehicle crash at Browns Plains on Friday morning.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said emergency services attended the crash at Anderson Street and Wembley Road at 5.52am.
One patient was transported to Logan Hospital in stable condition with a headache.
