TWO alleged high range drink drivers were caught on the same road in Jimboomba over two days.
Jimboomba police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said an 18-year-old Mundoolun man was charged after police pulled him over on Brisbane Street, Jimboomba on Friday, October 26 at 11.30pm.
Police allege a random breath test recorded a reading of 0.223, about four-and-a-half times the legal limit.
A 36-year-old Cedar Grove man was caught on Brisbane Street at 1am on Sunday, October 28 with a blood alcohol reading of 0.18.
Speeding
POLICE fined a 21-year-old Regents Park man for speeding more than 40 kilometres over the legal limit on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Jimboomba police Senior Sergeant Waugh said the driver was caught travelling 143km/h in a 100 zone at 5pm on Tuesday, October 27.
He was fined $1218.
