POLICE are warning motorists to drive to weather conditions after a car spun out of control and hit a bus stop over the weekend after trying to change lanes.
The 20-year-old female motorist was not injured in the crash at Kingston Road, Gould Adam’s Park, on Saturday, October 13 at 3.25pm.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said caution was needed when driving on slippery roads.
“When driving a car you have a huge responsibility not only for yourself and your passengers, but for innocent bystanders who maybe in another car, on a footpath, or even sitting at a bus stop,” the spokesperson said.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a 70 per cent chance of rainfall on Wednesday and a milder 40 per cent chance of showers on Thursday.
Possible rain is forecast through to Saturday, October 20.
