MATILDA Wright, 5, channeled her favourite artist Frida Kahlo to attend a school holiday art class at Logan Art Gallery today, Wednesday, September 26.
“Look I even brought my book about her,” she said. It was called Little Dreams Big Dreams
Art classes are just some of the fun on offer as part of ImagiNation, 16 days of school holiday fun programmed by Logan council this school holidays.
Meanwhile at Logan Village, mums and daughters played ladies at Devon’s Pixies. Kids practised the art of biscuit making and decorating before enjoying high tea with mum.
ImagiNation offers some 170 free and low cost school holiday activities for kids to choose from all over the city.
Some of this week’s highlights close to home include hula hooping at Yarrabilba, Pacific arts and crafts at Flagstone Skate Park and clay hand building at Art Share, Logan West Community Centre.
The hottest ticket in town for under 12s this weekend will be to the Muddy Wonderland dance party on Saturday at Underwood Park, Priestdale.
