THE under 13 Logan Village Falcons have secured the top spot on the ladder heading into the soccer grand final for the second year in a row.
Logan Village was under pressure to defeat Teviot Downs over the weekend to surpass Park Ridge for the premiership.
The falcons had an attacking start with midfielders Kye Huth, Jack Watson and Harrison Lederhose creating opportunities for the forwards.
Ben Havers scored the first goal, paving the way for a hat trick.
Kash Trelora dominated the midfield to match Haver’s goal scoring ability, leading to a 6-1 win against Teviot Downs.
Man of the match, Seth Ablett, led the defence with Jacob Radowski.
Logan Village falcon coaches Roy Huth and Paul Lederhose are preparing the team for the first week of finals.
The coaching duo have committed to continue in their roles for 2019, marking four years of success.
The under 14 falcons and witches have also won spots in the finals.
