LOGAN VILLAGE RSL was transformed into a fairy grotto for a Guinness World Record attempt to capture the most fairies in a single place.
Mums and dads, grandmas and grandpas, bubs, tots, teens – and even blokes in leather jackets – donned tutus, wings and carried wands for the charity fundraiser staged to coincide with a Fortune Telling Gypsy Market at Logan Village RSL with proceeds bound for Legacy.
The record is held by New Zealand with 928 fairies caught on camera in a single place.
“We’re about 200 short, but we’ve had a lot of fun trying. We’ll be back to try again next year,” said organiser Veronica Heil.
