BROWNS Plains police officers fielded questions from curious students at the Park Ridge State High School Careers Expo on August 7.
Senior Sergeant Michael Leafe showcased the Queensland Police Service with Inspector Mick Dowdy, Sergeant Shane Clark and Senior Constable Tony Fishburn on Tuesday.
The officers were asked questions on topics including the dog squad, mounted units and what was involved in scientific and detective units.
Students and parents quizzed officers about pre-application requirements, recruit training, postings, career options and remote area service.
