POLICE have charged a man with multiple offences three days after a Ford Falcon was reported stolen from a Jimboomba residence.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said a 23-year-old Warwick man was charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle after police noticed the alleged stolen Ford Falcon on Junabee Road on May 27 at 1.40pm.
“The vehicle sped off heading east on Junabee Road before turning North toward Yangan,” the spokesperson said.
“A tyre deflation device was successfully deployed at the Yangan Bridge on the Yangan Killarney Road. The vehicle continued back to Warwick before stopping at the intersection of Weewondilla and Horsman Roads.”
Police allege that a Nissan Dualis was also stolen from a Runcorn address on May 13 and a Hyundai IX35 was stolen from a Many West driveway on May 20.
The man faces further charges including one count of arson, three counts of burglary, one count of dangerous driving, disqualified driving, stealing, failing to stop motor vehicle and obstructing police.
