POLICE are investigating after a Holmview petrol station was robbed over the weekend.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said a man jumped onto the counter of the Logan River Road business and demanded cash at about 6.05pm on Sunday, May 20.
“The store employee placed the till from the cash register onto the counter, and the man has taken a sum of cash from the till before fleeing the store,” the spokesperson said.
The man fled the scene in a small red vehicle, understood to be a Holden Barina, driven by another male person.
The man is understood to be Pacific Islander in appearance with a thin build and 175 cm tall.
He was wearing a black singlet, black baseball cap, and multi-coloured board shorts.
No injuries were caused from the incident.
