“This is an opportunity for residents, business owners and anyone with an interest in Logan Central to have their say as we plan the future of the area,” Cr Raven said.
“We’re keen to develop Logan Central as the civic and cultural heart of the city, and to do that we need to maximise the opportunities available to us.
“With input from the community and the experts speaking on the day, we’ll identify those opportunities.”
Planning and economic development chair Cr Russell Lutton said the council had already started collecting information from residents through an online survey and focus group meetings.
“We’ve received strong feedback already about what people like about Logan Central and their ideas for the future,” Cr Lutton said.
“Once the summit is complete, we’ll collate all the feedback and ideas that come from the summit it and use it to start planning for the future.”

A follow-up community feedback session will be held at Logan Central Plaza on Saturday from 9am to 12.30pm.
