NINE community service groups received grants at the Quota International of Jimboomba changeover dinner last night.
They were Orange Sky Laundry, Hear and Say, Rosie’s Friends on the Street, Crowson Park Riding for the Disabled, PACT (Protect All Children Today), Lives Lived Well Logan House, Scripture Union School Chaplins, Blue Care Beaudesert and Quota International Inc. Hand in Hand World Service.
More than 100 women from all over south-east Queensland attended the dinner where president Julie Newman handed over to Julie Sansom.
Those who attended included region 13 director Robyn Russ, past international president Karen Murphy and past regional director Ali Lingard, Logan City deputy mayor Cherie Dalley and Cr Laurie Koranski.
Quota International of Jimboomba is a not for profit organisation that raises funds for service groups. It has given away $10,500 this financial year.
