YOUNG entrepreneurs can get practical tips and advice from Logan software developers Brad and Joanna Apps at Logan West Library tomorrow.
The founders of Underwood company EEConnect Pty Ltd will share the story of how they grew their business from a hobby.
“We plan to share our experiences with setting the vision, purpose, mission and values of ECConnect as well as the lessons we have learnt about planning the business, staffing and customers,” said Mr Apps.
“The informal chat will include a fair bit of time for questions from attendees in order to provide feedback and advice to them.”
Logan lifestyle and community committee chair councillor Steve Swenson said the Tips for Young Entrepreneur sessions were designed to help people learn what it takes to be successful when launching their first entrepreneurial venture.
“We encourage anyone with a great idea for a business to come along and learn how they could pursue that dream,” he said.
Tips for Young Entrepreneurs will be held at Logan West Library, Browns Plains, tomorrow from 7.30pm.
Bookings are essential and can be made by phoning your nearest local library.
