ANOTHER storm hit the Logan on Tuesday afternoon and the Bureau of Meteorology warned further severe storms were possible into the evening.

POWER outages lasted up to five hours at Jimboomba on New Year’s Day as severe storms took their toll.
Gusty winds uprooted a tree which fell on a power line on Alfred Road at Stockleigh, causing grief for 5000 Energex customers in surrounding areas.
Branches also fell on a powerline at North Maclean.
An Energex spokesperson said affected suburbs included Munruben, Stockleigh, Jimboomba, South Maclean, Greenbank, North Maclean, Yarrabilba, Logan Village, Kairabah and parts of Tamborine.
Scenic Rim suburbs which lost power included Kerry and Oaky Creek.
While power was restored to some areas within two hours of the power outages, others were not restored until late in the night.
Outages follow storms which tore through the Scenic Rim on New Year’s Eve and left more than 1800 people without power.
Scenic Rim State Emergency Service members were called to help a Cryna resident remove debris after a pergola roof was ripped off.
Bureau of Meteorology spokesperson Aditi Sharan said the highest rainfall was 48mm.
“The Scenic Rim and Logan area had rainfall with thunderstorms,” she said.
Ms Sharan said residents could expect more storms and rain across south-east Queensland this week.
“There is a good chance of a shower and thunderstorms today and these thunderstorms can also be severe with heavy rainfall,” she said.
“Thursday will be slightly cloudy with a chance of a shower in the afternoon in the Scenic Rim and Logan areas.
“There could be more severe thunderstorms on Friday.”
