POLICE have arrested a 14-year-old boy after businesses and a house was broken into at Browns Plains last month.
Senior Sergeant Grant Ralston said the break and enter offences occurred between December 16 and 23.
“A business on Eastern Road, Browns Plains was unlawfully entered on December 16 where the offender stole a set of car keys before running off on foot,” he said.
On December 19, a business on Mount Lindesay Highway, Regents Park was robbed of cash from the till.
Four days later a home on Downing Street, Browns Plains was broken into.
Senior Sergeant Ralston said a rear security screen was cut and the door lock unlatched to gain entry.
Two wallets were stolen from the house.
Detectives from the Logan District child protection and investigation unit arrested the 14-year-old.
He was dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
