A CAMIRA man has been sentenced to four months in prison after pleading guilty to stealing from a house at New Beith last week Monday.
The 34-year-old man was arrested the day after the break-in.
Police said alcohol and bank cards were stolen from the house on Preston Street.
The man pleaded guilty to one charge each of burglary and receiving stolen property, and two charges of fraud by using stolen bank cards.
He was sentenced to four months in prison.
Police appeal
POLICE are appealing for information about a red 2011 FG Falcon that was sighted at Logan Village on December 10.
Police said they would like to speak to the owner of the car after jewellery was stolen from a house on Towns Avenue about midday.
A door was smashed and the house was ransacked.
Arrests
A 27-YEAR-OLD Jimboomba man will appear in the Beaudesert Magistrates Court on January 9 on a charge of drug possession.
Police said they will allege in court that they found 60 grams of cannabis in a Ford Ranger they stopped on Camp Cable Road about 9.30pm on December 9.
A 30-YEAR-OLD Loganholme man has been charged after a spree of thefts at Flagstone on November 26.
Police said the man was arrested on Thursday after tools, bags and bank cards were stolen from five vehicles on the same day.
He was also charged with offences that occurred elsewhere.
The man is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court next month.
A NSW man, aged 43, has been charged after a Subaru Liberty was stolen from Logan Village State School on December 7.
The vehicle was found burnt out at Bromelton four days later.
A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested after climbing through a window into a vacant shop at Jimboomba Convenience Centre last week Monday.
The boy was found at the skate park a short while later.
He will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
