Two landscape designs received prestigious awards with the Queensland landscape industry which celebrated the best of the best in landscape construction early last month at the Brisbane Hilton.
They were the gallery walk park at Mount Tamborine in the commercial 3 category projects for $250,001 to $500,000 and the Eureka landscapes in Foxx Park, Yarabilba in commercial 4 projects for projects from $500,001 to $750,000.
The Queensland Landscape Construction of the Year was awarded for both the residential and commercial segments of the industry. The event was attended by the Minister for Housing and Public Works and Sport the Honourable Mick de Brenni and about 450 guests from the landscape design and construction industry.
The evening was hosted by Terry Hansen from Brisbane radio station 97.7FM and featured comedy ventriloquist Darren Carr.
Landscape Queensland CEO, Mark Sorby, said this year’s awards again showcased the high skill levels and professionalism of the landscape industry. He also said that he was pleased to see entries submitted from throughout the state confirming the overall health of the industry in Queensland.
