Stroud Homes Brisbane South will go into the national competition to be held in Singapore in May 2018 after winning the State project home of the year award for the Housing Industry Association in November.
The State award follows a win in the same category at the Gold Coast event in October.
The winning home was built in Panitz Drive, Jimboomba for a couple earlier this year and features four bedrooms, a large al fresco area and media and games rooms, typified by the popular Kentucky range.
Director Thomas Eldridge said he was very proud of the team that had been involved in the project.
“I couldn’t have done anything without them. I am also elated to be recognised in the industry,” he said.
Mr Eldridge said he believed it was the team’s pride and dedication in its work that put it ahead of the competition.
“It’s a project home, but our team go that extra mile and consider every detail. That makes this sort of home a good product for the money,” he said.
Criteria for the award included quality workmanship done professionally and also considered the work plan and inclusions.
Since opening at Jimboomba six years ago, Stroud Homes Brisbane South has won two other HIA awards and several Master Builders awards.
“It’s the quality that sets us apart, every time.”
