Under 12s
The under 12s played Wynnum at home and after going down goalless to them earlier in the year the Pirates had a point to prove. They came out firing, coming in at quarter-time at one goal each. They led to the last quarter, where Wynnum were able to kick some goals and come away with the win 2.4.16 to 4.1.25.
Under 9s
Park Ridge Pirates under 9s travelled to Sherwood on Saturday.
On a great day for football, with Koran celebrating his 50 games and Toby celebrating a birthday, the Pirates got of to a flying start.
Spreading the ball well between all zones.
With some team goals set around handballs and sharing the ball, the under 9s lowered their eyes and looked for running players, dominating play for the balance of the game.
It was another fantastic effort from all.
A special thanks to all the volunteers, Mums and Dads that help out week in, week out. Without you all the kids couldn't run into the field.
