UPDATE: May 30:
Two men who had been charged with grievous bodily harm after an alleged assault in Beenleigh have had their charges upgraded to murder.
The 17-year-old Buccan man and a 36-year-old Bahrs Scrub man are due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
A 37-year-old man died in hospital on May 23 after suffering serious head injuries in the incident.
The investigation by the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch and the State Homicide Squad has now been completed.
Previously: Police are appealing to the public to come forward with information about an alleged bashing which has led to a man dying in hospital.
The 37-year-old man died on Wednesday, May 24.
Police allege the man was assaulted by a group of five men at a party in Aragon Street, Beenleigh on Saturday, May 20.
He suffered serious head injuries.
