Trees falling on powerlines have cut power at Forestdale, Hillcrest, Chambers Flat and Munruben.
Updates for these works can be expected between 5.30pm and 6pm.
Emergency repairs are in progress at Crestmead and Park Ridge.

Energex’s Executive General Manager Service Delivery Paul Rainbird said they were expecting the wild weather’s high winds and flooding to cause power outages.
“Everyone should check they have a torch, battery-powered or rechargeable lamps, a radio and spare batteries on hand,” he said.
“Electrical items such as mobile phones, laptop computers and tablet devices should also be kept fully charged to provide a form of communication for longer should extended power outages occur.

Minister for Housing and Public Works Mick de Brenni urged residents who use generators after the storm event to take extra care.
“If you use a generator, make sure the generator is in a well-ventilated area, preferably outside away from doors and windows,” he said.
“Don’t use a generator in a poorly ventilated area and definitely don’t use one in a closed room.
“You are at risk of deadly carbon monoxide poisoning.”
