Their lesson on March 9 was about good quick tucker, where they made and ate fruit skewers.
During the eight week program the students met weekly to focus on their health and nutrition.
Each lesson is led by Charkeira, a Deadly Choices Ambassador, who is supported by a helper from the Murri School.
Community Education Counsellor Aunty Justine has been dedicated to engaging the Indigenous students in enriching cultural activities.
Aunty Justine has also organised Indigenous health checks for students in years 7, 8 and 9 students.
Doctors and nurses came to Flagstone State Community College to work one on one with students.
Senior students will take part in the health checks later this year.
