Residents, eager to find out how to become an animal carer or wildlife conservation volunteer, are being urged to get in quick and register for Logan City Council’s Wildlife Volunteers Celebration event.
The Crestmead-based information session will be held for four hours from 10am on Friday, March 3, and will feature talks from current carers and volunteers, as well as wildlife specialists and guests.
Animal Planet’s Julia Baker, otherwise known as the Snake Shelia, will be one of several people to hear from, and wildlife photographer Steve Parish will also be available to comment and share his experiences.
The Logan City Council event will be available to everyone above the age of eight, and details of the location will be provided upon registration.
