The Hills GC division one pennants side made it three wins in a row last weekend playing at home against Redland Bay.
The Jimboomba boys came out on top winning in stellar fashion, five matches to nil.
The pairing of Ryonusuke Seki and Barry Austin won the fourball 4 and 3, and the foursome of Bright Thongsom and Max Lee won 6 and 4.
In singles, Naoki Sekito won 1-up, Tsukasa Maki won 8 and 6 with number one Ultra Namkang winning 4 and 3.
The star studded line-up has only dropped one point (two halved matches) in their first three rounds in pennants competition.
A great way to kick off the defence of their title thus far.
Next round the division one side will face a tough test, talking last year’s grandfinal opponents, Carbrook at Carbrook.
Tight battle in division two
The division two side kept its title defence on track with a close 3½ to 2½ win against a spirited Redland Bay.
The fourball pairing of Dave Waters and Dan Mollica went down 3 and 2 after being up early in the match with the pairing of Lance Eade and Rani McKay fighting back from an early deficit to win 3 and 2.
In singles, Rob Rochford was 5-up and in control of the game when his opponent pulled out of the contest with injury.
Gavin Skeet fought out a well-deserved 2-up victory while Adrian Patterson finished 2-down in what was an up-and-down affair.
Ricky Forshey holed a long range birdie on 18 to win the hole and finish square in his match.
This weekend the division two side travels to play Windaroo at Windaroo in what is shaping up to be a mouth-watering contest.
First home battle for Hills division three side
The division three side played its first home fixture against a feisty Logan City outfit.
With a mixed bag of results they ground out another 3-3 draw.
In the fourballs the pairing of Ron Watts and Alf Lizzio went down narrowly 3 and 1 with the pairing of Craig O’Donnell and Fred Kernagahn fighting hard however going down 5 and 3.
In the single matches, captain John Biddlecombe won 5 and 3 while number one Brett Cownie got up 3 and 2.
Hills’ Nick Hoffman won convincingly 6 and 5, with Gary Paul going down 4 and 2.
Next week the division three side face local opponents Village Links at Logan Vllage for what is to be a tough fixture.
