A toddler has been taken to hospital after being accidentally locked in a car by his grandmother north of Kingaroy.
The two-year-old boy was accidentally locked in the car at West Road, Wondai, according to a police spokesman.
A fire crew managed to quickly extract the boy from the car, and he was taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition just after 10am.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the incident was "heat related".
The grandmother accompanied the toddler to hospital.
