Jimboomba Bushrangers Division Two played Beaudesert at Gleneagle on Saturday and Arden Coy led the way with the bat with an impressive innings of 63 not out.
Jimboomba won the toss and elected to bat first.
After the early loss of Simran Singh for two, Jimboomba put on a 55 run partnership for the second wicket between Ben Thurlow (23) and Brayden Hayes.
Arden Coy joined Brayden and they were able to reach two for 75 at the drinks break.
Brayden Hayes was eventually run out for 36 in the 19th over.
Thomas Sterle and Arden Coy set about pushing up the run rate and got the total to three for 157 after 28 overs.
Thomas Sterle finished 22 not out and Arden Coy on 63 not out.
Jimboomba took to the field and struck early with the ball in the second over through the combination of Ethan Hayes and Brandon Duckworth in the field.
Brayden Hayes then removed the second opener in the very next over to have Beaudesert at two for six.
Jimboomba continued to take wickets regularly through the bowling combination of Cameron Steinhardt and Arden Coy to have Beaudesert at six for 33 at the 15 over drinks break.
Cameron and Arden after the break maintained the pressure on Beaudesert and with the help of Jack dismissed Beaudesert for 40 in the 19th over.
Best bowlers for Jimboomba were Cameron Steinhardt with four for 17 off eight overs and Arden Coy three for seven off five overs.
Jimboomba Division 4 Gold played John Paul College (JPC) at Greenbank on Saturday.
Jimboomba won the toss and elected to bowl first. JPC were able to achieve 115 runs in their 20 overs.
Best bowlers were Hayden Young two for 12, Alasdair Leach two for 15, Jett Wright two for 18 and Liam Henry one for 13.
In reply Jimboomba were able to achieve 199 off 18 overs. Best batsmen were Carter Cresswell (30), Corey Young (30), Liam Henry (34) and Hayden Young (35).
