
Updated 9.40am: Due to oil on road the police have advised that the highway has been re-closed due to safety concerns.
The police estimate the highway will be reopened in about 40 minutes, after the spill is cleared.
9.15am: The Mount Lindesay Highway has been reopened after a three vehicle crash near Scrubby Creek Bridge, Jimboomba.
The crash occurred about 7.30am and police were diverting traffic around the scene for close to an hour.
Police said a male in his 30s on a motorbike braked to avoid the collision between two sedans.
The motorcyclist ended up in a ditch on the side of the Mount Lindesay Highway.
One victim has a possible broken leg. There is minor damage to the bridge railing.
Police are investigating the incident.
