A man is dead after his vehicle collided with a horse truck south-west of Brisbane, police have confirmed.
The 23-year-old Beaudesert man was cut free from the wreckage of his car but died at the scene before he could be airlifted to hospital on Monday.
There were no horses on the truck at the time of the crash.
He became the third fatality in 24 hours on Queensland roads.
A rider died when his motorbike hit a station wagon and veered off the road and into a parked police car at Mount Mellum about 1.30pm on Sunday.
Officers fought to save the 66-year-old man but he died at the scene.
About an hour later another motorcyclist suffered serious head injuries when he clipped a guide post and was thrown from his bike at Amamoor, near Gympie.
The 31-year-old was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating all three crashes.

A man had to be cut free from his car after a collision with a horse truck on Monday morning south-west of Brisbane.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was trapped inside for close to an hour after the collision in Beaudesert about 5.45am.
He was badly injured but paramedics weren't able to provide an update on his condition after firefighters managed to cut him free about 6.45am.
A helicopter was sent to airlift the man to hospital and Beaudesert-Boonah Road was closed as police from the Forensic Crash Unit investigated.
