Local businesses were given the opportunity to gain insight into how to trim the critical non-essentials from their businesses in order to streamline operations and save money by guest speaker Wayne Rabnott from Logan City Council and the Logan Office of Economic Development.
The networking event was held over a Devon Pixies signature high tea of dainty sandwiches, fresh scones and decorated cupcakes.
Chamber president Kerry Menck said the monthly networking events provided a valuable opportunity for local businesses and entrepreneurs to make connections and gain insights that could improve their operations.
Ms Menck said the networking events would alternate between dinner or lunch functions in order to accommodate all their members.
“We want suggestions from the business community surrounding what they would like to learn about and locations they would like to meet at,” she said.
“It doesn’t have to be a formal lunch or dinner event, we want to mix it up to cater to all our members.”
