Construction theft
Several houses under construction have been broken into over the past fortnight.
In Olley Street, New Beith copper wiring and numerous bags of cement were stolen between July 15 and 16.
A Gleeson Road, New Beith property was also broken into, as well as a property on Albert Street in Logan Village on separate occasions.
Police said break-ins were increasing and adding inflated costs to new homeowners.
Residents are asked to remain vigilant and to report after hours activity to Crime Stoppers.
