The Warriors were more than pumped up on Sunday and had been keen all week for the rematch against Everton Park after a narrow loss to the Roosters in the semi-finals last season.
Warriors’ captain Alex Gilliland fired up the team right from the get go ensuring Quinn Beggs scored a try in the first five minutes of the match.
Leading up to half-time the score was 24-5, the Warriors scoring four tries and bagging two conversions.
In the second half the Warriors succeeded in getting another three tries over the line, two of which were converted.
The Warriors were short of numbers with no extra substitutions, but they relentlessly pushed on with stamina and enthusiasm with a win within their grasp.
The winning moment was Kyle Rimmer intercepting the ball at the 20 metre line and running the full length of the field at pace for the Warriors final try.
