Miss Diamond Australia pagent contestant Karina Clarke has raised more than $2500 for buy a bale through an open sports day.
The event was held at the Greenbank pony club with 63 riders and 150 people in total attendance.
Ms Clarke said this was the most she has ever raised at this type of event.
“Everyone was amazing and so supportive and we had amazing prizes donated for the raffles and they were huge,” she said.
“I have re entered miss diamond Australia again as they have added an extra age group for the older division being 30+years.
“I love all the fundraising and the wonderful people I meet throughout this journey.
“Above all I get to make people happy and put a huge smile on their faces it really warms my heart.”
Ms Clarke said she loved the amount of effort people put into making their costumes and parading them on the days.
“They are truly amazing and so are the horses for allowing the gear to be put on them,” she said.
