
A Slacks Creek man has been charged with various offences after evading police and reversing into a police car on June 27.
The 28-year-old man was parked in a stolen Toyota sedan at Tully Park, North Maclean.
Police surrounded the sedan but the offender reversed into their vehicles and a pursuit was made on Beryl Road, North Maclean.
Spikes were used but the car continued at a slow pace and moved onto the wrong side of the road.
Police stopped pursuing the car and it ran off the road at Crowson Lane.
The man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, drugs charges and a wanted on return to prison warrant.
A 23-year-old female passenger was also found in the car.
The Chambers Flat woman was charged with evading police, drugs offences, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and warrants.
The man was remanded in custody and he will reappear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 12.
DRUNK DRIVER
A Logan Village man was caught drink driving on June 25.
The 35-year-old gave a roadside reading of 0.101 per cent at 1am.
He was driving a silver Toyota Landcruiser on Quinzeh Creek Road, Logan Village.
He is scheduled to appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court on July 5.
STOLEN PROPERTY
Police are looking for information after a Green Kawasaki was stolen from Logan Village.
Unknown offenders stole the 2013 KX250F and a chainsaw from the rear of the Log Creek Road home.
The offence occurred between 11pm on June 27 and 2pm and June 28.
No keys were taken from the property.
A construction site at Yarrabilba was also targeted by thieves.
Between 5pm on June 28 and 5am on June 29 a number of hardwood posts were stolen from the Bright Street address.
