Police have charged a 24-year-old Munruben man and a 21-year-old Hillcrest man following a series of dangerous driving incidents across south-east Queensland on Saturday night and in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police will allege that a car stolen from Sunybank Hills on February 26 was involved in a number of dangerous driving incidents across Brisbane and Logan before being stopped by officer from Ipswich.
The crew of PolAir 1 (police helicopter) observed the car driving across the north and south sides of Brisbane as well as Logan – including allegedly driving at high speed, through red lights and on the wrong side of roads.
Over the course of several hours, the car allegedly continued to drive dangerously on major roads including the Logan Motorway at Meadowbrook and Heathwood and the Ipswich Motorway at Rocklea.
The car also allegedly drove through tunnels in an attempt to avoid detection by the PolAir – however the on board crew have the ability to speak directly with tunnel authorities and were constantly updated as to its whereabouts whilst it was out of sight.
The vehicle entered the Ipswich district around 12.50am and a short time later, a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed by officers on the Centenary Highway at Yamanto.
The vehicle allegedly continued to drive on its rims on Ipswich-Boonah Road.
Around 1.15am a police vehicle travelling in front of the stolen vehicle caused it to slow down and stop, with two men taken into custody.
The 24-year-old Munruben man has been charged with four counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of failing to stop a motor vehicle and one count each of driving on a disqualified licence, use of a vehicle with number plates belonging to another vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.
He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow.
The 21-year-old Hillcrest man has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on May 12.
No one was injured as a result of the incident.
