A man armed with a machete held up a Springwood business on Wednesday night.
Police are searching for the man after he enetered the Rochedale Road business and produced a machete while making demands for cash shortly before 10pm.
The male attendant complied with the man’s demand and the man fled on foot with a sum of cash.
No one was injured as a result of the robbery.
The armed robber is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, aged in his 20s and was last seen wearing jeans, white and grey shoes, a red hooded jumper with black sleeves and had a mask covering his mouth.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may recognise the man depicted in released CCTV images to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
