This Saturday community members have the opportunity to be the first people to walk over the new Flagstone railway bridge.
Get comfy walking shoes on and head to the end of Homestead Drive, Jimboomba, to be part of the walk at 10am until 1pm.
This gives the community the opportunity to discover what is happening in the new construction zone where work has started on the new central business district and surrounding homesites.
Across the bridge there will be loads of family fun with free massages, pancakes for sale, children’s craft activities and face painting, a pop up café and sausage sizzle.
Take a selfie or plant a flag to mark a spot being first over the line.
The Peet/MTAA Flagstone project includes 12,000 residential lots and a 126 hectare retail and commercial centre that will service the whole of the Greater Flagstone region, one of three Priority Development Areas in Brisbane’s south-west corridor.
