Woodhill defeats Kerry in local cricket

The match between Kerry and Woodhill was played at Selwyn Park on Sunday and ended with Woodhill gaining victory in the 47th over. Kerry won the toss and batted first, and were in early trouble at 2-9. Patient batting from Sam Stewart 54, and Mick Mahoney 30, got their total to 211. In reply, Woodhill were 3-95 at first drinks with Lauchlan Snow making 49. Jason Lavender made 83, batting in small partnerships with the remainder of the batsmen to get past the Kerry total.
